PREVENTIVE CHECK-UPS
Preventive check-ups help detect tooth decay, gum problems and other oral health issues early. During the appointment, the dentist checks the teeth, gums, soft tissues, bite, existing fillings and prosthetic work. If needed, X-rays can help detect hidden cavities or other problems. Regular check-ups are one of the best ways to protect oral health and avoid more complex treatment later. Adults should usually attend a preventive check-up once a year, while children should attend twice a year.
